I am a "long time Rocky's junkie". I have been listening to your information since hmm... not sure what year it was but I believe one of the first tapes I received from a friend was a copy of your first trip to Walla Walla! So it's been awhile...anyhow... I wanted you to know your ministry of recovery changed me inside and out. I am now 23 years old, and all the "garbage" that happened in my life transformed whom I may have been able to be at age 16. I could have been very different without it… However by the grace of God I received, from a friend, a copy of your tapes of a seminar you held in Walla Walla, plus a copy of your tape entitled "set free". They sat there for a long time before I finally listened to them but then I did! And wished I would have sooner…I was a teenager at the time in a very bad situation without the guts to just get up and leave everything behind (including my family whom was putting me through hell). But after 3 months of constantly reviewing, listening to your material, and discovering the "knowledge" of who I am, I got up the nerve and shortly after I left! Moved 600 miles away and never looked back. I am 23 now, starting school for sematic therapy in August of this year, a leap that takes strength due to the fact my parents denied me an education. I have never been in a school before or with peers on a constant basis so the thought of taking the plunge and going to school is scary, but it is a plunge that without the recovery I have experienced would not be possible. Knowing the person I was at age 16 and knowing the person I am now makes me feel over whelmed. The changes are endless and I have found peace, love and a sense of "real life". I am by no means "fixed" but I must say that I know if I didn’t listen to those tapes I would be a very different person today. Had I never received any of the things I did as a child I would also be different... But at this point in my life I can even embrace the wrongs that were done to me because I can look back without bitterness and be thankful! I know God had a plan and now at 23 I am an individual with a horrid past but a bright future because of the recovery I have experienced. That to me is priceless. I have been watching the videos online on becoming a facilitator. I just wanted to take a moment and tell you thank you for all you have done, for allowing God to use you for a ministry that touches lives in ways that can allow them to find peace and love. That is what the gospel is about. Without you sharing your knowledge and working for the Lord, who knows who I might be today. So Thank You! I will be moving to Knoxville, TN and I plan to start facilitating the Journey in that area. I hope to make it an on-going process while I am there. When one class ends start another with other interested small groups of people. -Amanda -
